The Prime Customer Experience Optimization team owns and drives continuous optimization for the Prime member experience on Amazon.com and on the Amazon mobile app.

We are a cross functional team that drives optimization by developing tools and capabilities for optimizing the Prime Customer Experience. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and drive projects that introduces paradigm shifting innovation in the Prime customer experiences. The primary responsibility for this role will be build intelligent products that will help automated the process of delivering personalized content experiences to all customers. You will guide our team in realigning the architecture and the processes we use to communicate with shoppers across all our touchpoints.

You will need to understand and explain complex technical issues, discern impact, and communicate these to both technical and non-technical partner teams to drive resolution. To be successful in this role, you will need an inclination to look under the hood of any system, an obsessive focus on customer feedback and pain points, high attention to detail, and a passion to build. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners including Scientists, Engineers, Marketing, Product Managers, and more, using Business Requirement Documents, user stories, technical reviews as well as quantitative and qualitative data to align stakeholders from both our team and other teams toward solutions that materially affects way of doing business. You will insist on the highest standards for your users and think big, while driving prioritization for what can and should be offered on Day 1. Finally, you will also establish success metrics for the product performance and maintain tracking mechanisms for those metrics.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree required
5+ years of Product Management experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA or equivalent experience
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes.
An ability to dive deep into data, technical systems and customer feedback with equal passion
Ability to work and collaborate across a wide range of stakeholders in different teams/ organizations/ locales
Strong document writing skills
