Albertsons Companies has an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Talent Acquisition department. In this role, you will be a trusted thought partner to leaders throughout the corporate supply chain organization, drive talent efforts based on organizational needs, and develop proactive recruitment strategies to fill critical corporate supply chain roles. As the first point of contact for future team members, you will be accountable for upholding and championing Albertsons Companies brand and culture. To do this, you will recruit with intent, hire with emotional and cultural intelligence, and welcome team members with approachability and meaningful engagement.
What does it take to be successful here? You are a fast-paced, highly motivated, people-centered, and innovative Talent Acquisition Strategist who will help us scale the Albertsons Companies Supply Chain Team. You will optimize the candidate and hiring manager experiences and manage communication and engagement throughout the candidate's lifecycle. You have experience recruiting in the supply chain space and understand how to connect the right talent with opportunities to meet business objectives.

Position Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Representative will report to the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition. This position will be based in Boise, Idaho, or one of our regional offices (Pleasanton CA, Portland OR, Denver CO, Dallas TX, Phoenix AZ, Seattle WA, Chicago, IL, or Orange County CA). Additional travel will be required if not located in Boise.

As a Talent Acquisition Representative, you must have depth and breadth of knowledge of the talent in Supply Chain, Distribution Centers, and Manufacturing plants. You will work closely with Human Resources and supply chain business leaders in devising talent acquisition strategies and recruitment process, as well as execution of the day-to-day sourcing, recruiting, and networking. You will be responsible for the recruitment processes including sourcing, interviewing, candidate evaluation, hiring, and offer negotiation as well as coaching, mentoring, and leading hiring managers in recruiting best practices.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Supply Chain Talent Acquisition Strategy: Creating a formal plan of action to successfully identify, recruit, and hire high-quality talent. This may include job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, talent planning. Delivering weekly/monthly reporting to HR and business leaders as well as a continuous quality assurance approach to strategy.
* Supply Chain Employer Value Proposition -- Contribute to, activate, and manage a compelling narrative detailing to jobseekers the value of employment within our supply chain organization. Devise go to market strategy, marketing, and media to make brand accessible and visible to jobseekers for all supply chain roles. Continually revisit value proposition to ensure market positioning is "fresh" and current for each role.

* Diversity & Inclusion -- Develop an approach that considers supply chain talent from across the nation, our diversity and inclusion strategy and goals, and draws diverse talent into consideration for all roles. Produce diverse slates of candidates and assemble diverse panels of interviewers to ensure our supply chain teams are as diverse as the communities and patients they serve. Foster a diverse and inclusive team and work environment and role model our culture and leadership practices.

* Sourcing & Recruiting: Work with internal teams and hiring managers to anticipate needs and proactively identify talent to meet and exceed those needs. Evaluate internal and external talent for opportunities across the supply chain organization. Owning the process from opening the req to candidates first day while building optimal experiences for candidates.

* Data & Analytics. Leverage data to create actionable talent intelligence, establish ROI, and draw insights for business leaders. Create forward-looking plans based on talent trends and analytics that turn information into clear data narratives or dashboards for business partners and leadership. Measure effort effectiveness execute against KPIs and hold yourself accountable to deliver against effectiveness measures. Adept at measuring marketing, media, and engagement, effectiveness to demonstrate overall value and identify opportunities to continually improve talent acquisition processes.
Qualifications:
* Expert level proficiency in networking, social recruiting, web-based tool utilization (i.e., LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)
* Experience in developing in-role success profiles and devising talent acquisition process to procure talent congruent with the aforementioned profile
* Experience developing reporting at a leadership level to convey talent acquisition effectiveness and convey market intelligence clearly and succinctly
* Ability to comprehend supply chain and organizational objectives and provide go to market talent acquisition approaches that ensure the business is positioned with world-class talent to attain defined objectives
* Proven ability to coordinate and align a diverse set of business stakeholders at all levels of a business
* Possesses a continuous quality assurance mindset and provide retrospective analysis to improve future talent acquisition approaches
* Strong influence - constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery while balancing the need for great collaboration across a variety of stakeholders and business units to achieve team and organizational objectives
* High detail orientation and broad background in leading large and complex talent acquisition projects
* Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates to leverage relationship-based recruiting
* Savvy with data - You know how to gather, share, and leverage data to make decisions. You utilize data to measure initiative and recruiter effectiveness, program costs, and build predictive talent insights to allow the business to "see around corners."
* Self-directed - Able to navigate ambiguity and work independently
* Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-based environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and service-oriented
* Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint) required
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
* 5+ years' experience in full cycle corporate recruiting environment
* 3+ years' experience in human resources or talent acquisition capacity in supply chain
* Bachelor's degree or high education level with emphasis in human resources or MBA
* Experience recruiting within the Oracle Recruiting Cloud system

In 1939, Joe Albertson, a former Safeway district manager, took $5,000 he saved and $7,500 he borrowed from his wife’s Aunt Bertie, and partnered with L.S. Skaggs to open his first Albertsons store on 16th and State Streets in Boise, Idaho.
