JOB SUMMARY: Performs maintenance on and prepares cylinders for gas fill. Sorts and loads empty/full cylinders for fill plant and drivers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Identifies, sorts and palletizes cylinders by size and product

* Operates forklift and safely loads / unloads compressed gas and liquid cylinders to and from delivery vehicles.

* Performs visual inspections of empty cylinders. Hammers and odor tests empty cylinders

* Replaces safety valves on cylinders.

* Removes and replaces labels on cylinders and paints cylinders.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or generaleducation degree (GED) and one year related experience and/or training orequivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehendsimple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to writesimple correspondence.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES,REGISTRATIONS

Must be able to obtain a validforklift operators license.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The associate must regularly lift upto 60 pounds and move more than 125 pounds with the aid of material handlingequipment.
