What responsibilities will you have?

The Cloud Technical Architect includes responsibility for the design, documentation, automation, configuration, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and security of cloud environments provisioned for our clients. As part of Accenture, the role includes working closely with our Database, PaaS and SaaS specialists to design and build robust, cost effective cloud solutions supporting mission critical infrastructure and applications.

Qualifications

Qualifications

* Minimum 8 years of Infrastructure/Cloud/Network design and Technical Architecture including areas such as:
* Network design (cloud <- on premises, network segregation, virtual networks, WAF, DNS, load balancing etc)
* High availability architecture design
* Collection of client requirements and translating into architecture designs
* Data Replication, Security, Encryption, Data Storage
* Cloud IAM
* Automation
* Security / Secret Management / Certificate Management
* Linux / Windows deployment and management best practices
* Minimum 4 years of industry experience as a Cloud Technical Architect
* Minimum 8 years of industry experience as an Infrastructure Technical Architect with a strong understanding of networking concepts

Preferred Skills:

* Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills
* Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skills
* Knowledge / Certification in one of the main cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, GCP)
* Experience in cloud migration for complex systems
* In depth knowledge of Linux administration
* Automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform etc
* Migration and Consolidation planning and execution
* Problem diagnoses, Manageability and Operations
* Knowledge of Oracle database concepts preferable
* Knowledge of other Database brands is a plus: SQL Server, DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase

Racking up those air miles will have to wait, as weekly non-essential travel to client sites Monday through Thursday is currently suspended. For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.
