Product Manager, Strategic Procurement
You will be responsible for managing a large volume vendor or multiple product lines and vendors to include managing the P&L, inventory and vendor programs and relationships as well as providing sales and operations support when necessary.

Prepare and analyze forecasts and inventory making recommendations for improving inventory based on assessment
Assess and evaluate new vendor opportunities
Analyze market data to identify trends/opportunities and develop strategic direction from market research
Provide sales support and proactively work with Sales team to identify new opportunities
Manage P&L of product line and make recommendations for improvements
Prepare proposals and contracts
Provide guidance to junior product managers
Prepare and present detailed business plans with limited guidance
Manage vendor relationships at numerous levels within the vendor line
Create detailed marketing strategies and programs
Your passion is sparked by:
Bachelor Degree plus 2-5 years of related experience and/or equivalent education and experience required
Expert knowledge of PM processes, procedures and terminology a must
Demonstrated background exercising good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Proven experience working on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
Solid background networking with senior internal and external customers required
Excellent verbal and written communications a must
