The Impact Youll Make in this Role

As a SA&E Supervisor, Local Medical Education, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

* Leading, developing and coaching a team with a focus on teamwork, collaboration, and consistency; determining team priorities, timelines and assignments to best support business needs

* Identifying, developing and refining processes to ensure excellence in execution and maximize efficiency and consistency; ensure any related training needs are developed and delivered to ensure success of processes

* Demonstrate solid understanding of peer-to-peer educational platforms, and general trends in medicine and peer-to-peer education and Maintain current knowledge of clinical data, surgical and wound care techniques, and educational needs

* Develop and own relationships with Area key opinion leaders and key decision makers and strategically leverage these relationships to advance messaging, impact and influence

* Serve as resource to all internal departments as well as management as relates to the processes, plans and activities of Medical Education related to the overall strategic objectives of the company.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree, (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

* Three (3) years experience in peer-to-peer Medical Education, with in house (non-agency) experience and/or a MedComm agency environment

* Two (2) years of project/team management

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

* Experience with managing a team

* Experience working in a matrix organization

* Basic understanding of HCC guidelines related to medical education, with a strong knowledge of guidelines around HCP interactions and navigating any at-risk scenarios to minimize risk to the company

Travel: May include up to 20% travel

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Location: San Antonio or Remote

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
