Position Summary
Develop, implement, and communicate enterprise HR policies and procedures in collaboration with other HR Centers of Excellence, HR business partners and the Law department. Understand policy strategies based on internal policies and procedures as well as external competitive benchmark data. Ensure HR policies are compliant with all federal, state and local laws and are aligned with the company's current and future business strategies. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Essential Job Functions

* Partner with the policies, procedures, and governance lead to develop people policies as assigned across the enterprise based on business need, desired competitive position and desired associate experience
* Review and revise, as needed, assigned enterprise HR policies and procedures to align with the business strategy and our desired competitive position
* Present HR policies to Law department for legal review/approval, including new and revised policies
* Communicate HR policies to HR business partner teams and business leaders
* Maintain and ensure the HR policy library is current, compliant and organized
* Conduct regular cadence of review of all HR policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws that govern employer/associate relations; partner with Law department on all updates/changes
* Remain current on employment law and workforce trends and guide organization to be proactive in response to these trends
* Assist with administration of third-party vendor relocation program and services, I-9 workflow processes and compliance, and WOTC program, including workflow processes and compliance
* Assist with administration of corporate HR crisis management activities including Business Continuity Plan, Business Impact Analysis Data Breach Response and Pandemic Response
* Train and develop both HR Center of Excellence and HR business partner associates in the day-to-day administration of policies and procedures
* Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Minimum Position Qualifications

* 3+ years of experience as a HR generalist or an equivalent role
* Excellent oral/written communication skills
* Demonstrated leadership skills
* Ability to achieve results through collaboration
* Ability to interpret government policies and regulations
* Ability to preserve confidentiality of information

Desired Previous Experience/Education

* Bachelor's Degree
* Any store retail experience
* Any experience in a division administrative management HR role
* Any experience creating and implementing policies
