Job Description:

Assist principle engineers with overseeing the design, production, testing and installation of X-ray Generators, Digital Imaging and Pulse Power equipment. This includes both hardware and software aspects of x-ray generation and imaging systems. This is an entry-level position. Limited use and application of basic principles, theories and concepts. Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope. Work closely supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions. Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assist with design and product improvements for a mature product line
* Identify and qualify replacement for obsolete production materials and components
* Troubleshoot production issues and devise solutions
* Work with a cross-functional team to insure on-time delivery of quality products
* Provide phone and on-site technical support to established customers
* Assist principal business development engineer with creating Scope of Work and costing for specific customer solutions
* May participate in the transport and set-up of a system in the field and conduct field tests.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably mechanical, electrical or process engineering with 0-4 years of experience.
* Equivalent experience may substitute for education. Ability work well on a team and take ownership to solve problems.
* The candidate shall be able to communicate in oral and written technical English.
* Use Computer Assisted Engineering programs such as AutoCad, Solidworks and Pro-E a plus.
* The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
* Hands-on experience in building or rebuilding electrical and mechanical systems.
* Supervising work in a production environment requires physical exertion including lifting up to 40 pounds, squatting and occasionally working low to the ground.
