Job Title: Specialist, Storage Solutions
Reports to: Manager, Inventory Flow and Theme Planning
OVERVIEW:
Supports the inventory storage strategy for all stores; including assessing needs for storage units, processing and approval of storage requests, field communication and maintaining organizational tools. This role collaborates cross-functionally with Store Support, the Field, Logistics, Asset Protection and Finance. Evaluates storage needs based on inventory flow forecasts and store capacity data to help guide and influence simplification of the processes for the field as well as cost saving initiatives. Understanding pace, speed and attention to detail are an asset, while executing day-to-day support through a customer-focused lens.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
Responsible for the processing and approval of over 3,500 storage unit requests
Support issue resolution for all field storage needs with speed and pace
Maintain a clear focus on the needs of the stores; solicit feedback and drive simplification and improvements through strong working relationships with the Field and cross functional teams
Partners with Procurement and Asset Protection to provide relevant storage supplies
Collaborate with manager and finance to influence a holiday labor strategy to support the execution of storage tasks
Analyzes capacity data to make storage recommendations
Responsible for all inventory storage activity communication to the field
Creates and maintains inventory organization and process tools to build operational in-store efficiencies
Report budget and provide status updates to partners regularly
Negotiate and manage costs with vendors

QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to multi-task, deliver under tight timelines and demonstrate excellent time management
Ability to analyze data and themes to make recommendations
Excellent organization, written/verbal communication, negotiation and decision-making skills
Experience working with cross-functional partners
Ability to resolve issues with a customer centric focus through curiosity and pace
Retail background, store selling/operations experience preferred
Basic understanding of budget planning
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office and Outlook
Ability to travel for store visits
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S. from a four-year college or university; or minimum of 1-3 years equivalent work experience
