Senior Supplier Quality Engineer
The primary function of the Advance Supplier Quality Engineer is to execute the deployment of the organizations advanced supplier management Quality Plan. The ASQE is responsible for the APQP deliverable monitoring, verification and tracking of launching programs external High Risk suppliers through regular communication including on-site visits.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
* Execute the deployment of the advanced supplier management Quality Plan.
* Monitoring, verification and tracking of launching programs of external High Risk suppliers through regular communication including on-site visits.
* Complete quality planning audits and process walks with the suppliers, identify concerns, make improvements with supplier management, and track ongoing compliance to improvement achievements.
* Monitor run at rates for capacity/quality risks / craftsmanship / customer dis-satisfiers
Your Qualifications:
* Engineering degree
* Excellent interpersonal communication and listening ability
* Expert in problem solving and analytical skills using 8D methodology
* Ability to read and interpret drawings to ensure the understanding of the agreed quality parameters and product specific requirements
* Knowledge on welding, stamping, plastic, foam process.

* Deep knowledge on welding processes Laser and CO2.

It operates in two segments, Seating and E-Systems. The Seating segment offers leather and fabric products, seat trim covers, recliner mechanisms, seat tracks and foams, seat structures and mechanisms, and headrests for automobiles and light trucks, compact cars, and sport utility vehicles; and heating and cooling systems. The E-Systems segment offers electrical distribution systems that route electrical signals and manage electrical power within the vehicle for traditional vehicle architectures, as well as high power and hybrid electric systems.
This segment’s products comprise wire harnesses, terminals and connectors, and junction boxes; and electronic control modules, such as body control modules, smart junction boxes, gateway and wireless control modules, lighting control modules, and audio domain controllers and amplifiers.
