General Purpose of the Role
The National Consultant, Group Benefits Sales, will provides leadership, insight, direction and functional expertise to increase sales results in partnership with the Large Case Sales team.This role has a remote job option that can be performed anywhere in the United States except in Colorado.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future strategies.
* Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
* Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
* Identifies and directs strategic process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
* Directs/executes approved strategy decisions and contributes to strategy creation for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
* Provides strategic direction to build and enhance the capability for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
* Support Large Case Sales Reps >5,000 sales efforts with Coaching and RFP response prep, Finalist preparation and execution, and Post-finalist negotiations support and execution.
* Drive Organizational Effectiveness in the National space through joint effort with national account service management team, while working with claims to define the service offering and areas of flexibility.
* Support sales and legal team interactions by troubleshooting negotiations to ensure positive outcome and developing sales/account management skills working with legal.
* Manage the National Technology Enhancement list to drive post-integration efforts to get back to technological parity with the market and develop feedback routine from the market to the development team, as well as, from development to sales team.

Education
* 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) - Minimum Required
Experience
* 5+ Years sales experience in the national space of group business. (Required ) LI-DS
