This role will be responsible for set up and operates various types of metal fabrication equipment such as hardware press, shears, power brakes, rolls, and saws to cut. Insert hardware into aluminum, steel or plastics including riv nuts, helicoils, studs, press-in inserts, etc. May locate and marks bending or cutting lines and reference points onto workpiece using rule, compass, straightedge, or by tracing from templates. May determine proper sequence of operations to make parts. May be required to inspect completed pieces using protractors, scales, gauges, calipers, etc, for conformance to specifications and/or blueprints. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
