Summary
Mastercard O&T/O.N.E. (Operations, Network, Employee Experience) teams are striving to deliver a world-class worker experience, changing the way we work and driving frictionless collaboration across the company. This role will be aligned with the TPM Guild principles and focused on driving success within Enterprise Technologies - including the rollout and adoption of cloud/O365, voice, conferencing, VDI, desktop engineering, mobility and collaboration tools effectively supporting all of Mastercard.
Overview
Responsible for planning, execution, and delivery, from inception to completion, for an existing technology product or program
Proactively manages the end-to-end delivery of engineering work though the engineering team and all dependent organizations
Reports on progress, ensuring dependencies are covered drives transparency across efforts
Operates between teams and architectures overseeing the gaps between teams, processes, and systems, while removing all blocking issues leading to a successful delivery
Responsibilities
Plan and manage a group of related technology projects or activities in a coordinated way from inception through successful delivery
Focus on the worker experience and how that is reliably delivered via build, test, delivery and change management processes, as well as the problems to be solved
Work across multiple scrum teams and service teams; work to optimize processes and deliver solutions at scale
Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels, and align dependent organizations and remove/mitigate all blocking issues
Work directly with internal/external Mastercard technology providers
Deep understanding of the business and technical requirements, the design approaches and technologies for the solutions being built
Work with limited guidance, seeking guidance as needed because the product and delivery strategy is defined. The design is not.
Understand the needs of the teams who build, maintain, and operate the systems, including the full lifecycle of the systems
Recognize complex designs and propose simplified solutions by working with engineers, architects, and SPMs
Write documentation as required
Communicate roll up of project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner for senior leadership consumption, escalating blocking issues when appropriate
Communicate progress, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, identify, assess, track and mitigate issues/risks at multiple levels
Regularly review metrics and proactively seek out new and improved data/mechanisms for visibility ensuring your program stays aligned with organization objectives
All About You:
experience as coordinator of large information technology projects, especially information technology systems integration projects,
higher education or a degree in the information technology field,
solid experience in leading medium and large scale projects independently,
experience in planning and managing processes,
effective communication skills, specifically the ability to clearly explain technical issues to a variety of audiences,
outstanding analytical and problem solving skills,
familiar with risk, issues and dependencies management,
Project Management Professional
fluent in English (both spoken and written); other languages are a plus
