Our Manufacturing Operations teams are the people that make our products. We work in the manufacturing plants with a Safety First, Quality Always mindset striving for continuous improvement. We work in the local plant joined to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished product.

The Sr. Tech position is available at our Animal Health facility in Worthington, Minnesota. The Worthington facility is expanding operations to manufacture vaccines for large and companion animals. Leveraging an experienced and innovative team environment, the key technologies at the site are biologics production using fermentation and cell culture platforms and filling and freeze-drying.

Position requires wearing scrubs at all times when working in the production area. Position requires working in a clean-room setting and wearing clean-room garments.

The job entails:

* Running steam sterilizers, filling lines, freeze dryers, environmental monitoring machines, crimping machine, and a dry heat oven.

* Preparing and cleaning equipment

* Cleaning and disinfecting clean rooms

Education Minimum Requirement:

* High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Qualifications and Skills:

* Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.

* Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.

* Successful completion of a Physical Abilities Test.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

* Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology or Microbiology or related field.

* Experience working in a lab or manufacturing of Biologics

* Experience working on an assembly line preferred.

* Knowledge of aseptic techniques and procedures preferred.
