Role Value Proposition:
The Account Manager serves as the primary service contact for Multinational customers by developing relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. In addition to researching and resolving plan and participant level issues the Account Manager coordinates external communications with clients and provides status, reports and updates to both internal and external parties
Key Responsibilities:
* Participation in client facing activities to resolve customer issues and concerns swiftly and with an effortless experience on the customers part.
* Working closely with sales partners and other internal global partners to contribute to new business sales, long term persistency and profitability of the MAXIS Global Benefit Network business.
* Retaining accountability for all day-to-day Account Management, service satisfaction, and loyalty for corporate clients; assisting team in managing at-risk customers and customer persistency; promoting proactive customer interactions and responding to problems and opportunities with a sense of urgency and tenacity to resolve customer related issues.
* Partners with various functions (technical), for timeliness, quality and profitability; provides consultative services to operating areas for the purpose of improving operational efficiencies resulting in cost savings and positive impact to customers.
* Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
* 3+ years of relevant business experience in the healthcare or financial services industry or in insurance operations
* Knowledge of global employee benefits product and service offerings.
* Exceptional project management, strong negotiation and influencing skills, oral, writing and presentation skills.
* Flexibility to multi-task and work in evolving environment.
* Must have clear understanding of business operations, KPI development, financial analysis and business research, development and planning.
* Strong project management skills and ability to work autonomously or with others to effectively handle multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines appropriately and remain flexible.
* Competencies: Communicates effectively, customer focus, advanced relationship building and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
* BS/BA degree is strongly preferred; advanced degree is a plus.
* Global experience working for a multi-national employer is ideal.
* Bilingual; Spanish, Portuguese, or French speaking is highly desired.
* Ability to find better ways to grow a business (products and channels).
* Strong MS Office (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) skills.
* Appropriate licensing such as Life, Accident, and Health. All required licenses must be obtained and in good standing within three months following the date of hire.
