Job Description
As an IT Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible to be a technical leader, proactive customer-focused advocate and a strategist with meaningful experience across multiple functions. In this position, you will work closely with the Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Sales, Logistics, and other business departments to research and recommend IT solutions to solve business problems. The Architect will provide enterprise level architecture design and implementation expertise to multi-functional delivery teams. The Architect defines the structure, characteristics and behavior of a single application, or group of applications, and is guided by the strategies, design patterns, and best practices established by the Enterprise Architecture team.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
* Build and manage business and technology architecture models, views, and artifacts
* Work with internal customers and business partners to translate strategic requirements into a usable enterprise architecture
* Align system and business capability with corporate strategy.
* Recommend and participate in the design and implementation of standards, tools, and methodologies that help ensure the successful adoption of IT projects
* Responsible for having an advanced understanding of IT industry trends and enterprise standards, methodology and techniques.
* Collaborate with Enterprise and Domain Architects to ensure we are deploying the right solutions at the right time to meet the business needs
* Drive the success of application portfolio management by ensuring that existing IT assets are identified, managed, and leveraged across the enterprise
* Guide architecture work streams toward simplifying and automating processes
Qualifications:
* 10+ years of meaningful business and IT experience.
* 3+ years of architecture practice experience.
* Knowledge and experience architecting complex landscapes/environments (SAP, Salesforce, etc.).
* Experience in, and a broad understanding of, various business domains (Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Sales, Logistics)
* Experience with documenting architecture and developing standards.
* Ability to determine the high-level architectural implications of new business requirements to each of the other domain Enterprise Architectures (business, systems, information, security, and technology).
* A strong knowledge of APIs and data integration models.
* A solid grasp of business principles and business strategy development.
* A passion for innovation in technology while delivering on current business commitments.
* Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
* A proven track record of influencing outcomes across the business.
Education:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field of study.
