Summary:

* Manage the federal income tax provision and compliance process for domestic companies, including SEC reporting, tax return filings and payments, tax accruals and true-ups.
* Assist with international tax provisions and international tax computations and filings required by the US.
* Proactively drive and maintain the process and documentation of the processes for internal controls related to income tax reporting.
* Work with internal and external auditors to ensure adequacy of controls.

Major Function and Scope:

* Coordinate and prepare the Companys domestic quarterly and yearly financial statement tax provision and related supporting filings for quarterly and annual SEC reporting. Prepare explanations for year over year changes and unusual items and fluxes.
* Manage federal income tax compliance processes. Includes timely filings of all federal returns, both separate company and consolidated, prepare/review federal estimated tax calculations, prepare/review provision to return analysis and entries for filed tax returns and monitoring of all income tax accounts.
* Responsible for understanding and calculating or managing and documenting the Companys domestic book/tax differences for UNICAP, fixed asset depreciation, intangible amortization, impairments, equity compensation, accounting method changes, inventory related adjustments, reserves, etc.
* Assist with the completion and timely filing of all international tax returns and computations required by jurisdictions outside the U.S. for the Company and its subsidiaries as those needs should arise including GILTI, BEAT, and Forms 5471, 8858, 1118.
* Participate in special projects either as lead or as a team member with others in the department such as tax planning initiatives, potential acquisition opportunities, and other tax related activities.
* Lead the tax departments internal controls process. Includes all stages from design, to evaluating current procedures, to gathering supporting documentation and working with both internal and external auditors

Experience and Knowledge:

* A minimum of eight years combined public and corporate experience in a multinational multi-entity corporate environment.
* A Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required.
* CPA certification/MST preferred.
* Solid general accounting knowledge and familiar with accounting principles such as ASC 740 and ASC 718, including related SEC disclosures is mandatory.
* Experience with analysis of tax reserve needs and maintenance of balance sheet reserve accounts under FAS 5 / FIN 48.
* Demonstrated knowledge of federal, international, state and local tax principles and the ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret relevant tax laws when handling diverse subject matter.
* Understanding of tax accounting principles and theory.
* Working knowledge of major tax preparation software programs such as ONESOURCE and other system driven templates (e.g., HFM Smartview).
