Responsible for providing project leadership ensuring project produces required outcomes, to the required standard of quality and within specified constraints of time and cost. Provide clear execution plans to work with Director of PMO and functional/technical team leads to schedule resources in a multi project environment. Define and develop project artifacts by themselves without additional business analyst support. Establish, develop and promote project management methodology best practices and ensure standard practices adopted across all projects. Would be required at times to oversee multiple projects.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Work with other internal teams such as Business Relationship Management, Enterprise Architecture, and Delivery to develop project plan and schedule.
* Ability to play Project Manager plus Business Analyst roles on smaller projects and lean environments, working with shared technical/functional resources.
* Provide project resource requirements plan and work with Directors and functional leads to schedule resources in multi-technology multi-functional environment.
* Drive project execution and governance
* Manage and communicate project risks or issues, and develop contingency plans
* Be accountable for overall progress and use of resources and initiate corrective action where necessary
* Manage project scope and project change control
* Develop training and communication plans where necessary
* Manage and monitor project budges and project run rates
* Responsible for ensuring that team members under their direction can understand and properly implement the approved solutions
* Project-oriented out-of-town and/or overseas travel could be required for requirements definition and implementation purposes

QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelors degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent with five to ten years related project management experience and/or training/certification (i.e. PMP, CSM, PSM), or equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
* A minimum of five years of experience in managing enterprise level software rollouts.
