Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Leader for developing business intelligence reports for CAPS segment, working with CAPS leadership and various business units to identify, prioritize, and build dashboards, reports, and other processes using BI tools, especially Microsoft Power BI.
* Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements including monthly actual, forecasting, and annual plan. Prepare the analysis of operating results and variances (i.e., actual vs. forecast, vs. plan) and other operating metrics such as backlog, headcount, capital expenditures, working capital, cash flow, etc.
* Assist with all planning and forecasting processes by providing guidance to business units and quality assurance regarding Hyperion Planning and other system data.
* Partner with business leaders to understand strategies and prepare business models. Utilize and develop various business reports and metrics to evaluate, interpret, and provide critical information in support of strategic and operating decisions. Work closely with business unit Finance/Operations teams to better understand financial results, trends and validate forecast assumptions.
* Develop and maintain monthly and ad hoc financial reports for management.
* Interact, present, and work with various departments and business unit leaders in preparation of analyses.
* Actively automate and streamline processes.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or Business Administration with minimum 3-5 years related experience

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Development of Microsoft Power BI reports
* Exceptionally strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of how to leverage a wide variety of data and related computer tools to summarize executive level information.
* Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to various management requests.
* Experience working with different departments and cross-functional teams.
* Ability to build effective relationships with all levels and roles in the organization.

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

* Advanced skills in MS Power BI and MS Excel required
* Experience with other BI tools (such as Tableau, MS Cognos, Incorta), ERP systems, Hyperion Financial Management and Hyperion Planning, SmartView, and databases/data warehouses highly desired
