Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Defense Systems Sector Vice President and CFO in McLean, Virginia.
Responsibilities:
* Performs normal office / clerical functions such as setting up and maintaining files
* Answers office phone and route callers as appropriate
* Arranges meetings and conferences
* Arranges All Hands Meetings and Webcasts and assists in the collection of information for those briefings
* Coordinates engagement events
* Manages the calendar and de-conflicts where necessary
* Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage
* Answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures
* Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to the CFO
* May take notes during meetings
* Books travel and prepares expense reports.
* Provides administrative support for training activities
* Manages the Sector CFO SharePoint site
Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of additional education and/or related administrative experience
* Must be able to work on-site in McLean, Virginia
* Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
* Experience maintaining multiple calendars
* Experience scheduling domestic and international travel plans
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Outlook (to produce and distribute email, letters, memoranda and reports), Sharepoint, Concur, iTRIP and iBuy systems, Skype and Zoom
* Experience scheduling meetings for senior management and coordinating logistical support for internal and external meetings, including offsite events
Preferred Qualifications
* Demonstrated ability to perform detail oriented work, without close supervision
* Must be able to independently assess priorities and work with confidential information
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple administrative projects and initiatives
