Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Project Management 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Grand Sky, North Dakota.

The selected candidate will conduct the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between Autonomous Systems Program operations and Autonomous Systems Functions and Shared Services. The candidate will also review status of projects and budget, manage schedules and prepare status reports, assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. The selected candidate will also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, managers, and clients.

Essential Functions:

* Coordinate with Grand Sky Leadership and Aeronautics Systems stakeholders to address priorities in the community.
* Engage with Aeronautics Systems Senior leadership to ensure Grand Sky is supported.
* Support Grand Sky in developing amp; delivering associated performance metrics for Aeronautics Systems dashboard reporting, to include staffing and community engagement requirements
* Work with Aeronautics Systems and NGC Corporate stakeholders to status plans and milestones, to include financials and schedules
* Assist in the development and subsequent utilization of a dashboard which reports Grand Sky current status for division and corporate reporting requirements, capture new requirements and changes to existing requirements
* Bring ideas forward to the Grand Sky leadership team and complete projects as assigned to further Grand Sky objectives and goals
* Support the Grand Sky Operations Management as tasked on projects
* Perform New Employee onboarding
* Update and maintain company database with employee current status and location

* Community Engagement
* Creating/Maintaing Site Newsletter
* Coordinating site onboarding of new employees
* Other tasks as assigned

Basic Qualifications for a level 2:

* Bachelor 39;s Degree and 3 years of project management experience
* Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Basic Qualifications for level 3 (Principal Project Mgt)
* Bachelor 39;s Degree and 6 years of project management experience
* Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications:

* General knowledge of project management principles and practices
* Prior Project Management experience with senior leadership
* Expert communication skills, both written and verbal
* Previous work experience with Microsoft Office tools and processes
