Northrop Grumman, Strategic Space Systems Division, has an opening for a Principal Test Conductor to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Materials, Manufacturing, Integration, Test amp; Launch (M2IT amp;L)

The Test Conductor will participate in all phases of the integration and test of both spacecraft and payload systems. Candidate will work closely with the Lead Test Engineer and Systems Engineering to execute tests and troubleshoot anomalies. Candidate will help run day to day floor activities on Flight payloads and the Engineering Model Test Bed (EMTB). Some shift work may be required.

Responsibilities include ensuring that engineering tests serve mission objectives and mechanisms are in place to execute tests, overseeing the operational aspects of engineering tests and serving as liaison to program, engineering and line management, reviewing status of test requirements, managing schedules and preparing reports. Additional responsibilities include selecting and supervising technicians during test, assessing anomalies and developing resolutions to documented procedures in conjunction with Test and Quality Engineering.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math major, plus 5 years of related systems integration, test and evaluation experience or a high school diploma plus 9 or more years of related integration and test experience.
* Candidate must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years, OR must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

* RF experience preferred.
* Familiarity with other electronic test equipment such as spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer, protocol analyzer vector signal analyzer a plus.
* Ability to troubleshoot test set and deliverable hardware required.
* Ability to generate and support disposition of discrepancy documentation.
* Ability to adhere to local processes, procedures and protocols.
* Ability to safely handle and mate/demate cables, harnesses and waveguide and associated connectors and support equipment.
* Ability to perform manual labor including but not limited to lifting and moving heavy test equipment, trench covers, often heavy cables and harnessing.
* Testing and troubleshooting of antennas/antenna subsystems systems.
* Familiarity with System Integration Test and Evaluation and processes and procedures or equivalent.
* Familiarity with RF and Communications, digital systems or satellite communications.
* Familiarity with database maintenance, test script and test procedure development.
