This position is governed by a local union contract.

Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for the accounting of inventory, fixed assets, cash, and large accounts receivable customers. This person will be required to post journal entries, assist with month end close related tasks and ad hoc reporting as needed.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Reconciliation and reporting of inventory at main warehouse, 3PL warehouse in the Netherlands, and inventory on consignment at Amazon.
Coordination of fixed asset process including creation, monitoring, and reporting of capital projects.
Reconciliation of large customer account balances with Amazon, Costco, and other large accounts as needed.
Reconciliation of bank account balances, credit cards, PayPal, and other balance sheet accounts as assigned.
Ad hoc reporting and other accounts receivable related tasks as required, including cash application, creation of new customer accounts, and initial customer credit review for extending credit terms.

Working Conditions:

Open office environment
Some overtime required during the accounting close and as special projects arise

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university required
2-3 years of accounting or finance experience

Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, lean environment, with hands on team player approach
The ability to handle change and make the necessary adjustments to processes
Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision
Demonstrate attention to detail and follow through to resolve issues
Capability to deal with internal and external customers in a competent and professional manner
Independent thinker with the ability to analyze and evaluate revenue and accounts receivable data for accuracy and reasonableness.
