As a Repetitive Benefit Specialist I you'll provide routine processing and maintenance services for customers who have an annuity plan. Success in this career is warranted with having high attention to detail, some mathematical skills, and have a process improvement mentality.

Your day will be filled with:n
n
* n n
* Somewhat independently analyze and process more complex transactions to create and maintain computerized retirement and repetitive payment records for customers within established timing & quality standards.n
* Review and perform more complex retirement and repetitive payment calculations and transactions taking into consideration compliance requirements, contract restrictions, legal documents and tax consideration. Investigate and resolve calculation and transaction problems which includes balancing/reconciling accounting and recordkeeping for retirement and repetitive records.n
* Somewhat independently analyze more complex internal and external customer requests and process appropriate transactions to create and maintain computerized retirement and repetitive payment records in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure appropriate materials and forms are provided. Be able to meet productivity and quality measurement goals.n
* May participate in the training and development of team members. Provide technical and problem-solving expertise and assist with procedural updates.n
* Communicate orally and/or in writing with internal and external customers to obtain missing information.n
* Consult available resources including technical documentation, co-workers, and subject matter experts to perform daily tasks. Make suggestion for improvements in procedures and provide solutions.n
* Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.n nn
Qualificationsnn
* High school diploma or relevant experience.n
* 2+ years work experience.n
* Strong interpersonal, analytical, mathematical, organizational, decision making, 10-key, and customer service skills.n
* Strong knowledge of contract provisions, pension and repetitive payment recordkeeping and accounting systems.n
* Ability to adapt to frequent change, handle a large volume of work and balance working independently while working in a team environment to meet customers' needs and achieve overall goals.n
* Capable of utilizing various mainframe/PC applications including work processing and spreadsheets.nn
