This position is responsible for supporting and contributing to the overall success of the Companys Third-Party Management Program within Global Privacy and Compliance and Information Security. This position will assist with defining, implementing, and managing the data security and data privacy third party risk management activity.

Additionally, this position will analyze business processes, system applications and reports that may impact the privacy of our employees, customers, consumers, and vendors. The incumbent will work with Global Privacy and Compliance, Information Security families, and at times directly with the business owners to identify potential areas for improvements to the design and functionality of SW business processes and applications that process personal information to ensure data privacy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions

Position Responsibilities

* Assess risk associated with third parties receiving and/or accessing company data.
* Demonstrate knowledge for methods of scoring, calculating, and quantifying risk.
* System Administrator for the Third-Party Management application.
* Execute tasks using the Third-Party Management application.
* Report and/or metrics development for each of the areas of responsibility.
* Obtain a thorough understanding of our business processes, applications, standard programs, and reports as they relate to privacy and data security.
* Analyze complex business processes or issues and quickly understand business issues and related privacy and data challenges.
* Identify process improvement opportunities, define improvement requirements, conduct detailed analysis, assist solution design, provide project coordination, act as a liaison between the business and development resources.
* Support the communication/training efforts related to process changes.
* Work frequently with key business personnel across all divisions domestically and globally.
* Exhibit personal ownership and accountability for continuous improvement.
* Identify critical issues with ease. Exhibit confidence and knowledge of privacy laws and best practices.
* Collaborate with other team members to effectively drive project success.
* Complete special projects as requested.

Operational Management

* Deliver informative, well-organized presentations.
* Communicate effectively with data owners to identify needs and evaluate business solutions.
* Communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully and professionally.
* Identify process improvement opportunities; define, recommend, and help implement process improvements.
* Provide leadership and complete any projects, as requested.
* Exhibit personal ownership and accountability for continuous improvement.
* Propel creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing company practices and mindsets.

Incidential Functions

* Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally is required
* Work outside the standard office 7.5 hour workday may be required.

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

* Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in related field or equivalent experience.

Knowledge & Experience

* 2+ years experience working in an analytical, security, or privacy/compliance position.
* 2+ years experience working with internal clients and/or external agencies/partners.
* Preferred business knowledge includes a working knowledge of SW structure, business processes, and operations.
* Preferred basic understanding of data privacy and security laws.
* Well versed in Microsoft Office applications.
* Understanding of various essential business functions of an organization.
* Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively.

It operates in three segments: The Americas Group, Consumer Brands Group, and Performance Coatings Group. The Consumer Brands Group segment provides branded and private-label architectural paints, stains, varnishes, industrial products, wood finishes products, wood preservatives, applicators, corrosion inhibitors, aerosols, caulks, and adhesives to retailers and distributors.
