Responsibilities

About the Role
Internal Audit is looking for results driven individual contributors who will excel in a high initiative and high influence environment! The role offers the opportunity to work across a broad portfolio of technologies - emerging/open source, market leading, established, and legacy across the full-stack. Additionally, the role offers exposure to internal business partners through the executive leadership level. The ability to understand how technology and business processes work together to support State Farm's strategy is required to be successful. The right candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team setting.

A Day in the life of a Technology Auditor:

* A Technology Auditor applies full-stack technology acumen to test the security, privacy, and efficiency of technologies implemented across the enterprise.
* A Technology Auditor develops and supports IT, Data Analytics, and automation to protect State Farm customer and employee data.
* A Technology auditor is expected to maintain a level of expertise in various technologies and business topics through continuing education and IT certifications.
* A successful Technology auditor is viewed as a trusted advisor by direct business partners and effectively uses business judgment to provide control recommendations and share risk management best practices.
* All auditors join a talented remote agile team of peers responsible for control testing all facets of enterprise infrastructure, information security, and IT operations.
* Occasional travel (10-20%) would be required to State Farm corporate & hub locations per business need.

Qualifications

Required Professional Experience:

* 2+ years of experience developing software covering a broad base of open source tech stack, complemented with a concentration in cloud transformation (AWS/Azure) via agile delivery
* Full stack experience to contribute at any level
* Experience with API management, continuous delivery (CI/CD), incident response, and/or penetration testing
* Experience with version control and DevOps tools, such as GitLab
* Information Security risk management and tooling experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Demonstrated commitment to learning new technology/processes
* Any experience in AI / ML , Salesforce, Cloud, and Big Data related technologies are a huge plus
* Current on business applications, trends in IT, and experience evaluating/implementing new innovative IT solutions
* Knowledge of core infrastructure components: platform, storage, compute
* Industry certifications (AWSCCP, AZURE, CISSP, CISA, CRISC) valued
