Position Summary:
Transports patients of all ages to and from all departments within the hospital complex in a friendly, professional and ethical manner. Trained to perform all Physical Therapy, Radiology, Nursing, Admitting and patient discharge transportation requirements. Must display strong leadership and coordination. Performs other related duties.
Qualifications:
Education
Required: High School Graduate or GED Certificate
Experience
Required:Must be able to lift, move and transport patients, be able to communicate with patients and staff and adhere to hospital safety standards and proper body mechanics. Bilingual - English and Spanish preferred. Must be patient focused and customer service oriented.
Preferred: Patient transportation experience
Certificates
Required: American Heart Association BLS
Full Time 8 hour Days, including some weekend shifts
