How will you make an impact?

The Biomarker Integration Team supports diagnostic testing strategies to help hospitals experience optimal patient and health economic outcomes. The Biomarker Integration Manager is responsible for growing test volumes at hospitals across the region through targeted discovery and engagement of clinical and financial stakeholders. Primarily focused on the BRAHMS Procalcitonin (PCT) test, he/she will establish the clinical value and health economic impact of PCT-aided antibiotic decision-making for the management of sepsis and lower respiratory tract infections.

What will you do?

* Own strategic account profiling, targeting and development of hospitals within designated region
* Interface with License Partners to coordinate activities associated with target accounts
* Gain agreement from key hospital decision-makers for broad test utilization, achieve hospital-wide protocol adoption and execute the implementation plan
* Build relationships with Laboratory Leadership, C-suite and Clinical Leads, including Pharmacy, Infectious Disease, Emergency Medicine and Critical Care
* Develop and perform client-specific health economic modeling
* Be accountable to an annual operating growth plan as well as individual performance relating to specific leading activity metrics

How will you get here?

You are accountable for test adoption, implementation and medical education strategies at hospitals within your region resulting in improved patient outcomes, hospital quality metrics and optimal test volumes. Working closely with License Partners who sell the test to the hospital laboratory, you will develop close working relationships with many large laboratory equipment providers in the market. The position is remote based covering LA, TX, OK, KS, NM and requires extensive travel.

Education

* BA, BS or equivalent

Experience

* 3 or more years of sales or clinical demand experience
* Demonstrated success in the medical diagnostics or similar market
* Experience engaging with both laboratory and clinical decision-makers highly preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

* Proven presentation and advanced negotiation skills
* Strong communication, organization and sales skills
* Able to establish and develop strategic customer relationships
* Ability to travel extensively and as needed; minimum travel is >50%
* Strong analytical skills that coincide with the ability to implement complex selling strategies
* Proficient with SFDC CRM, Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook
* Self-directed and highly motivated
