This role can be based remotely anywhere in the U.S. (plus up to 20% travel, depending on business needs).
How will you make an impact?
The principal role of the Compliance Project Manager is to plan and manage large to mid scale Compliance projects within GMP regulated environments to ensure projects meet customer requirements and stated objectives. The successful candidate will need to create project plans, determine objectives, scope, identify and escalate risks. Additionally, the project manager will need to manage/coordinate resources, monitor project progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met, while communicating effectively with all stakeholders.
This role will be a part of the IES LPD Field Service Organization as a critical partner and enabler of success and business growth.
What will you do?
* Develop detailed project plans for strategic and/or business critical projects including information such as project objectives, scope, coordinating resources to drive impact and project acceleration
* Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for team members required for specific projects or initiatives
* Monitor daily tasks to ensure all project team members are actively working toward established milestones and deliverables, ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope
* Establish and execute a project communication plan and develop information communication procedures.
* Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
* Works with the Compliance Service Manager and Regional Service Management team to ensure an effective, efficient and seamless project execution
* Collaborates and establishes relationships with the relevant service management, marketing, commercial, product management and service delivery leaders in the corresponding business units to ensure project meets customer commitments

Education:
* Bachelor's degree
Experience:
* 7+ years of related experience, with an emphasis on formal Project Management experience
* Experience with Microsoft Project and demonstrated experience leading complex service implementations that involve interaction with the customer as well as internal Thermo Fisher groups, including IT, HR and finance.
* Experience and knowledge of GMP regulated environments strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
* Professional Project Management Certification from accredited institution a plus
* Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and method
* Ability to travel up to 20% as business needs dictate
* Ability to anticipate challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
* Strong collaborative track record, which includes working within a matrix environment along with the ability to find solutions to a common goal
