What will you do?

This position is entry level and is responsible for acquiring the skills to do the receipt, inventory, storage, withdrawal and shipment of biological specimens, samples, clinical agents, and materials from multiple commercial and government clients. These materials are stored at temperatures ranging from ambient (room temperature) to below freezing with potentially hazardous properties. This position uses database applications and standard precautionary procedures to work independently, be self2010directed, communicate effectively, and use good judgment when making decisions. Internal or external client interaction occurs under the guidance of experienced professional or technical staff. This position may also participate in the assembly of kits and label printing.

Education:

* High School Diploma or equivalent required

00B7 Basic computer skills with ability to learn service procedures

00B7 Ability to lift 40 lbs. or more with help

00B7 Good verbal and written communications skills

00B7 Has a valid driver2019s license

00B7 Willing to drive company truck to and from customer sites

00B7 Fork truck and shipping/receiving related skills preferred

00B7 Previous work with basic hand tools as related to shipping receiving

00B7 Comfortable communicating with customers and pickup/delivering systems

00B7 Strong organizational skills to operate a ship/receive department

00B7 Can follow a 5S system to maintain cleanliness and efficiencies 200B
