This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while
maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Tasks
Maintenance Generalist positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. This
includes repairing and maintaining the operating conditions of the machinery and equipment, troubleshooting problems that
occur in the day- to-day operation of the facility. The position requires performing work involving hydraulics, pneumatics,
electrical and mechanics in general as well as some welding. The team member will also set up, adjust and break down
production line machinery and complete daily documentation this is required.
Requirements
Requires standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching. Requires lifting 70+ lbs. and work
while standing or walking on hard floors for a period of up to 12 hours. Requires working weekends, overtime and holidays as
needed. Requires ability to communicate effectively to all Team Members and management to resolve mechanical failures as
well as be able to read manuals in order to repair equipment safely. Requires ability to communicate verbally and in writing
and to be able to record information using company provided forms and procedures. Requires knowledge of basic computer
skills in order to record information as needed in company computer system. Requires working in hot and cold environments.
Must have 6 months of continuous employment within the last 4 years in order to be considered for these positions. If the

Requires high school diploma, GED, or on-the-job training.
