North Spring Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. is a multifaceted behavioral healthcare system comprised of three programs to serve children and adolescents with a broad spectrum of psychiatric service needs. Programs of service include an 87-bed, Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services licensed, Joint Commission accredited psychiatric residential treatment facility, a Partial Hospitalization Program, and a 16-bed acute psychiatric hospital - which due to high demand - is in the process of expanding to 40 beds. We are currently recruiting for a Director of Residential Services to join our growing team!
Location: Beautiful Leesburg, Virginia, 40 miles Northwest of Washington DC. Named one of the best places to live by Money magazine. 45-acre campus in a rural area on the northern edge of Leesburg with a gymnasium, beautiful outdoor campus and high ropes course. Excellent public school system.
Compensation package: Competitive salary. Key Responsibilities:
* The Director of Residential Services provides overall leadership of the daily operations of the residential program.
* Oversees staffing, scheduling, and FTE management.
* Develops, coordinates, and manages the program schedule and additionally conducts performance improvement activities to achieve benchmarks for clinical indicators.
* Facilitates training and staff development, with an emphasis on high quality residential care delivered in a cost- effective manner.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Must possess demonstrated leadership ability, the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groupsand individuals, strong oral and written communication skills. Must possess knowledge of therapeuticrelationships as relates to child and adolescents' therapeutic processes, child and adolescent growth and development, limit setting and behavior management, crisis management of aggressive behaviors andCPR. An individual must be able to perform each essential function of the job satisfactorily. Education: A minimum degree at the Master Level in Counseling, Psychology or Social work. Licensure preferred. substituted for experience.
Licensure/ Certification: Must maintain valid CPR and HWC certification. LPC, LCSW, LP, LMFT license preferred.
