DBT Certified Therapist
Peachford Hospital is searching for an experienced master's level DBT Certified Therapist to conduct groups in our adult inpatient and outpatient programs.
Therapists at Peachford Hospital provide quality care to our patient preparing and leading structured DBT groups for patients with primary mental health issues. Crisis de-escalation skills and an ability to multi-task and manage priorities with a positive attitude are critical for this role.
Our new DBT Therapist will be responsible for completing the following duties:
* Conduct DBT groups for varying patient populations both inpatient and in the partial hospitalization (outpatient) program.
* Develop and implement a plan of treatment, in conjunction with other members of the team.
* Develop and coordinate an individualized discharge plans for assigned patients.
What Does Peachford Require for this Role?
A master's degree and licensure in a social services field is required with LPC, LCSW, LMFT preferred. At least three years' experience utilizing DBT based therapy treatment processes in a group therapy environment is also required as is DBT certification. Knowledge of and/or experience with the Linehan DBT Model is helpful.
