The Nursing Manager is responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients on the Child, Adolescent and Adult Units. Provide leadership, communication, teaching and management skills to nursing staff. Exhibit and provide supervisory tasks with training, strategic thinking, performance improvement and teambuilding of Nursing Staff.

Palm Point Behavioral Health is a 74-bed behavioral health hospital is located in Titusville, Florida minutes from Cape Canaveral. Palm Point Behavioral Health treats adults, children and adolescents that suffer from a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses including, depression, anxiety and substance abuse in a modern and well-appointed facility. Palm Point behavioral health offers inpatient treatment options and serve communities in Brevard County and beyond. Titusville, located on Florida's Space Coast, is approximately 30-miles north of historic Cocoa Beach, and 40-miles east of Orlando's famous theme parks. In Titusville, you can tour the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and Canaveral National Seashore. Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred.

Requires five (5) years' experience as a Registered Nurse.

Prefer two (2) years of supervision experience in psychiatric nursing.

Knowledge of current nursing procedures, the nursing process, medications and their correct administration.

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida. Prefer AMA certification in psychiatric nursing.
