Responsibilities

The Clinical Systems Analyst is responsible for the support, implementation and maintenance of Clinical Information Systems and data resources relative to the clinical departments throughout the medical center. Performs routine system maintenance activities to ensure high availability of clinical applications. Performs upgrades of applications along with making minor adaptations and modifications to standard techniques, procedures and criteria. The Clinical Systems Analyst is responsible for the training of new users on various clinical applications. This position will lead small clinical projects as assigned in the delivery and support of Clinical Information System solutions at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. Prepares and submits reports, makes recommendations to management in regards to clinical information systems throughout the medical center. Assists in the development of departmental policies and procedures. Accountable for the integrity of Clinical Information systems throughout the medical center. This position rotates call with other members of the Information Systems department.

Qualifications

- Bachelor degree in related field preferred.
- RN - Associates degree with 2-4 years clinical experience OR
- IT related Associates degree or 2-4 years' experience as an IT analyst OR
- Current state or nationally credentialed Health Care Professional with 2-4 years' experience
- Excellent communication and personal skills required,
- Ability to train and educate others.

- Must successfully pass pre-employment assessment.
