Responsibilities

Must have good communication and customer service skills, be proficient with computers (including Microsoft Office), be able to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions, maintain strict confidentiality, be able to interact effectively with persons of widely diverse backgrounds, cultures, roles and socio-economic classes, and be able to remain seated at the reception desk for long periods of time. Flexibility in managing multiple tasks and priorities, including frequent changes in response to emerging circumstances is a must.

Glen Oaks Hospital is a 54-bed private mental health hospital in a relaxed setting in Greenville, Texas. Our comfortable, homelike atmosphere is conducive to healing for the adults and seniors we treat. Our greatest asset is the staff, comprised of psychiatrists, professional nurses, social workers and therapists. These individuals work as a team to uphold Glen Oaks Hospital's reputation for excellence in helping patients resolve mental health and addiction problems. For nearly 30 years, Glen Oaks Hospital has been a leader in the field of mental health and chemical dependency care, and our staff is dedicated to researching the latest treatment approaches and applying this to our overall treatment philosophy.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: One (1) year experience in a hospital or school setting preferred. Experience operating a telephone console with multiple lines preferred.
