Job Summary

This role is responsible for carrying out qualification activities to ensure applicable quality, safety, and regulatory standards are met for products in the Walgreens Owned Brand Health & Wellness categories. Activities include, but are not limited to, leading quality testing program with third-party labs, leading failure resolution across multiple stakeholders, ensuring process compliance, and maintaining required documentation.

This role works with the Quality and Technical team to identify and mitigate technical quality risks throughout the product lifecycle, during the product commercialization process to product discontinuation, and support continuous improvement activities by identifying potential process gaps, proposing solutions, and supporting implementation of change.

Job Responsibilities

* Supports products, suppliers, and internal customers through the Product Integrity commercialization process.
* Provides maintenance of supplier and product quality and safety programs to include but not limited to: product testing, auditing, specifications, food safety, print quality etc.
* Ensures collection, analysis and reporting of Product Integrity data. Makes actionable recommendations based on trends, expertise/knowledge of product and external market trends.
* Maintains and organizes Product Integrity databases. Recommends process improvement opportunities.
* Drives program transparency and quality through internal communication and/or service improvements.
* Coordinates and provides communication and follow-up to suppliers, 3rd party organizations, customers, and management staff as needed.
* Provides project management and coordination for performance testing of products.
* Serves as point-of-contact for technical inquiries to product integrity matters & processes.
* Manages ad hoc product and vendor review for new and/or problem items.
