The Software SR Engineer is regarded across the enterprise as an expert in multiple identified areas of expertise with responsibility for developing standards and enterprise-wide best practices and for engineering complex, largescale technology solutions to address highly complex and cross-organizational issues. Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices. Maintains broad knowledge of other technology engineering disciplines and collaborating with other key experts to ensure we are making the right technology choices for Wells Fargo. Translates advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions. Expert resource for architects in the development of target architectures to ensure that they can be properly designed and implemented through sound engineering practices. Maintains knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization. Provides expert counsel to senior technology leadership and advises and mentors others with the goal of knowledge transfer. Will represent Wells Fargo to external industry groups, influencing industry standards. Expert resource for architects in the development of target architectures to ensure that they can be properly designed and implemented through sound engineering practices. We are looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to work within The Trust information technology group.

This individual will:

Translate adherence to architectural approved technologies, organization's tactical and strategic business objectives, and line of business' strategic objectives and requirements. They will be an expert resource for architects in the development of target architectures to ensure that they can be properly designed and implemented through sound engineering practices.

Job Responsibilities:

- Code and Develop using .NET, JAVA, JavaScript, Angular 8
- Using RESTful or SOAP web services
- Micro-services development
- Database experience with 2 or more of the following platforms: Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MongoDB
- Using Pivotal Cloud Foundry
- Experience with Automation Testing and testing tools

This position can be based at the Wells Fargo site location in Charlotte, NC.

Required Qualifications
* 7+ years of software engineering experience
* 5+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
* 7+ years of web design and development experience
* 5+ years of database experience with 2 or more of the following platforms: Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MongoDB
* 5+ years of .Net or Java experience or a combination of both
* 5+ years of experience in microservices development

Desired Qualifications
* An industry-standard technology certification
* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
* 5+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools
* Ability to mentor and train less senior staff
* 5+ years of ASP.Net experience
* 5+ years of Spring experience
* 7+ years of Java experience
* 5 + years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI or Angular JS)
* Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban
* 1+ year of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) experience

Other Desired Qualifications
* 7 + years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
* 2+ years of experience with Angular 8 or 9 or newer upgrades for legacy applications
* 3+ years of experience of Junit/Integration Testing experience.
* 2 + years of experience in one or a combination of the following Enterprise Pipeline Tools: uDeploy (Urbancode Deploy), TFS (Team Foundation Server) GIT, Sonar, Fortify, Blackduck
* 2+ years of experience of Angular material (Preferred) or Bootstrap and CSS.
* 1+ years of experience of Automated Unit Testing experience.
* 1+ years of experience of Behavior or Test Driven Development experience.

Job Expectations
* Ability to work on call as assigned
* Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays
* Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
