As part of the WIM Next Generation efforts to create horizontal functions to support all client coverage channels, a new organization has been formed to drive delivery of its non-investment products and services. This new group, Wealth Client Solutions, brings teams and functions currently found across WIMs consumer businesses under a common, WIM-level organization. The team will be focused on transforming from channel-based to client-focused solutions and delivery in an effort to reduce operational risk, improve efficiency, increase consistency/coordination, and bring focus on product management / development to drive innovative growth and improve the client experience.
Additionally, the new group will drive a WIM-level culture of product management excellence by creating a culture of innovation, product excellence, client service and risk mitigation.
* This team is responsible for the following functions:
* Lending and Banking Products (custom and consumer packaged)
* Deposit Strategy and Management
* WIM Enterprise Partnerships
* Trust and Fiduciary Services Management
* M&A Business Advisory Services
The Role
* The IFS BAU Error Correction Team Leader is a newly created level position within Wealth Client Solutions and will be responsible for the development, centralized management, execution, and coordination of a Business As Usual Error Correction and Loss Oversight team. This is a senior manager role and will be responsible for managing a team of specialized individuals that will perform fee redress and remediation activities, including forensic accounting, account research, creation of formulas for calculation of fees and interest, fee analysis and problem solving within a disciplined and repeatable process.
* Leader will also manage team responsible for review, approval and root cause analysis of operational losses occurring with the business, including making recommendations to improve control environment and development of preventative controls in an effort to avoid repeat errors.
* Leader will also coordinate with WIM or Enterprise Center of Excellence remediation teams, as necessary.
* This position will work closely with WIM Senior Leadership, including leadership in Wealth Client Solutions, Private Wealth Management and WIM Operations.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Manage specialists that provide consulting on grantor retained annuity trusts, including questions which may arise relative to business acceptance or calculation of annuity payments.
* Manage specialists that perform the calculation of adjustments to cost basis or based on Consumer Price Index.
* Provide miscellaneous consulting and education for administrative, operational or specialty groups.
* Hire and develop a diverse team of subject matter experts to ensure front line BAU redress and remediation responsibilities are fulfilled within this team consistent with the requirements developed by the Enterprise and other functions.
* Manage relationships and foster a team orientation with risk and business control leaders across WIM Control, IRM, legal, audit, and other enterprise functional teams.
* Team leadership and development. Cultivate key team approach and partnership ethic through senior managers and their teams. Ensure team is meeting risk management objectives in line with required policies and procedures.
* Provide strong and actionable Tone from the Top communications throughout WIM and ensure team members feel safe and protected in raising concerns and issues
The successful candidate will work closely with other senior leaders across the WIM organization and the company in the development and execution of company risk management strategies. Accordingly, critical success factors will include the ability to develop partnerships with many business and functional areas, provide insight into the economic climate and related market developments and identify trends which may present opportunities or reflect gaps in the Companys risk management execution/direction.

Salary range is determined by location of the job.

May be considered for a discretionary bonus.
Required Qualifications
* 6+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning
* 3+ years of management experience

* Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communications skills with an ability to interact effectively with stakeholders and regulators, to include virtual, matrixed leadership experience and the ability to effectively manage and build relationships within the business and enterprise Risk function.
* Proven leadership and project management skills to drive alignment across stakeholder groups to develop and deliver repeatable end to end risk management solutions and controls aligned with business/customer processes.
* Deep understanding of risk framework, corporate/business policies, and programs to translate into plans for the business, function and/or risk type.
* Demonstrated leadership ability that embodies the Wells Fargo Vision and Values and leadership competencies.
* Strong analytical ability used to identify risks and confidently raise issues, escalate early and engage in constructive credible challenge and will do so independently when necessary.
* Proven ability to proactively manage and resolve conflict and effectively defend decisions with objective rationale
* Demonstrated ability to solve problems and analyze issues when you collect data from multiple sources and know how to ask the right questions to obtain the information needed to size up a situation properly.
