PayPal is seeking a strategic, business-oriented, and data-driven leader to join its Global Sales Operations (GSO) team as the Sr. Director, supporting the 600+ Global Professional Services (GPS) organization. This leader will oversee the sales ops function for GPS organization with a focus on transforming the organization to become the best-in-class for servicing PayPals merchants globally. This leader will be responsible for setting up the GSO Business Partner team and will be instrumental in tracking of GPS org performance, in shaping decision making, and in driving improvements in customer experiences for the overall GPS organization. As the leader in this global team, the Sr. Director, will provide strategic directions, analytical recommendations, and vital insights to leaders within both GSO and GPS organizations which will further drive overall strategy and transformation for the GPS organization. The Sr. Director will focus on advancing his/her teams capabilities, creating best-in-class performance measurement frameworks, integrating cutting-edge solutions, and developing close partnerships with key stakeholders. In so doing, he/she will ensure the GPS organization enables business growth through highly efficient servicing models. This executive will develop an outcome-oriented strategy incorporating differentiated tactical solutions.

* Work with GPS leaders to streamline processes related to Pre-Sales Solution Development and Merchant Engagement, Post-Sales Integration and Servicing, and overall GPS Enablement and Training.
* Develop mechanisms to systematically manage product launches and new integration rollouts across PayPals global merchant portfolios.
* Identify GPS servicing bottlenecks and create forward looking capacity models to support short-term as well as long-term global business expansion.
* Build knowledge repositories with the help of Sales Enablement team to address learning and training gaps across GPS.
* Partner with Product, Engineering, Merchant Servicing and Sales Operations organizations across PayPal to improve end-to-end merchant experiences.
* Leverage technology and innovation to design improved processes for collecting merchant inputs and feedback.
* Develop frameworks for performance tracking and design sales incentive mechanisms to align GPS with the rest of PayPals Sales & Servicing objectives.
* Collaborate with GPS leaders to standardize inconsistent and ad-hoc GPS processes and improve overall merchant integration experiences.
* Mentor, coach, advise and level-up GPS talent and groom next generation of GPS leaders.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have strong Strategy as well as Org Transformation background. The successful candidate will have:

* Experience operating in highly cross functional roles across Product, Engineering, Analytics, Finance and Operations functions.

Strategic Capabilities: The successful candidate will analyze key GPS performance metrics to drive insights and strategic direction across the organization. He/she will demonstrate impressive intellectual horsepower and critical thinking skills, that can be accretive to the existing senior team within GPS & GSO organizations. The ideal candidate will apply pragmatism and sound judgement to business issues and be able to quickly integrate complex information, thorough understanding of customer segments, and different points of view into solutions. He/she will exhibit a highly disciplined approach to developing and executing strategic initiatives that reflect broader business objectives and be able to incorporate key inputs from multiple stakeholder groups. Intellectual curiosity should exude from this person and he/she should be able to find patterns in the data and ask the right questions.

Analytics Capabilities: The successful candidate will understand how to identify insights by combining information derived from analytics and business knowledge. Specifically, he/she will have familiarity with org performance tracking data sets and will know what is needed to create a best-in-class GPS organization. He/she will leverage a holistic view of data assets to deliver a compelling enterprise vision and impact critical corporate KPIs. He/she will have a firm grasp of business fundamentals (i.e., business strategy, operating models, financials metrics, and the competitive terrain) and will apply rigorous analytics to address complex business challenges.

Leading Teams & Relationship Building: This executive must be a dynamic, self-aware, and humble leader whose track record buys immediate credibility across a diverse business. He/she will also be an inclusive leader, able to grow a team, inspire others, and engage directly with key stakeholders. Job Requirements

* 15 years total work experience in Strategy, Operations and Product focused functions.
* Bachelors and Masters degree in Computer or Information Sciences from accredited university.
* MBA degree from a top tier globally recognized business school will be preferred.
* Solid strategic planning skills combined with exceptional project execution capabilities.
* Strong analytical mindset combined with the ability to analyze data and reports.
* Collaborative mindset with leadership capabilities and the ability to influence.
* Excellent understanding of standard business practices related to Sales Operations processes and systems (sales cycle, salesforce.com, reporting, forecasting, territory management and sales quotas).
* Clear strategic thinker with vision and with the ability to execute on priorities.
* Solid excel based data analysis and modeling skills.
* Advanced power point presentation skills and an ability to present to senior stakeholders.
* Strong project managements skills including scheduling, workstream management, risk management, status reporting and resource management.
