This is a PAID summer internship for a college student interested in gaining corporate experience in the Human Resources field. You will have the opportunity to learn basic recruiting, screening and onboarding skills and support the HR department in other areas, including training, employee relations and report management. This internships work schedule is approximately 28 hours per week.

During this internship, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
Use the Sherwin-Williams job posting system to initiate and complete job postings.
Coordinate and communicate interview arrangements with applicants and assist with candidate screening.
Support the college recruiting effort by assisting with college career fair registrations and ensuring recruiting teams have sufficient recruiting materials.
Register employees for training classes, and monitor and report on employees with incomplete training certifications.
Respond to employee questions related to HR issues and refer to proper resource as needed.
Provide general administrative support for the office, including expense report processing, filing, organizing and covering reception when needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be enrolled in an accredited four year college or university pursuing a Bachelors degree.
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
Must be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to speak Spanish or an Asian language such as Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, etc. is a plus.
Organizational, planning and time management skills with the ability to work without direct supervision.
