The Chelmsford Business Operations Team is looking for a self-motivated person with a strong education in business, finance, industrial engineering, data analysis or accounting, and an interest in becoming a Program Financial Analyst. The successful candidate will assist experienced Program Financial Analysts in supporting program and functional management in a dynamic, high-tech electronics manufacturing and design facility, while training to take on their own program responsibilities. Responsibilities may include: developing and analyzing performance reports; developing earned value measurements (EVM); entering data into the Electronic Financial System (EFS); helping develop program and functional estimates-at-completion (EACs); helping develop estimating inputs and basis of estimate (BOE) write-ups. Successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team. Will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Lockheed Martin policies and procedures, as well as Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and contract requirements. Delivering accurate, timely reports. Gathering and organizing data. Assisting with data analysis. Developing cost performance metric presentations. Effectively collaborating with other Finance team members and across functional and program organizations. Ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The Locale: Chelmsford is a charming suburb of Boston located about 25 miles northwest of that city. Chelmsford is very close to historic Lowell Massachusetts and to Nashua, New Hampshire. Chelmsford is within reach of New Hampshires White Mountains and awesome ski areas to the north, and the scenic coastal towns of MA and NH are about an hour east. This scenic colonial region offers lots of New England charm, great schools, shopping, and restaurants. Chelmsford and the region share an impressive past from the early days after the pilgrims arrived in Plymouth to the revolutionary war. Where can you get to from Chelmsford? Chelmsford is about 90 minutes from Cape Cod. Boston is about 30 minutes to the east without traffic. New York City is about 4.5 hours away from Chelmsford. Waterville Valley and other major ski resorts of New Hampshire and Vermont are about 2 to 3 hours to the north. It should be noted that Chelmsford, Massachusetts is approximately 35 miles northwest of the Boston metropolitan area and offers better access to a wide range of substantially more affordable regions in the area to live. Those regions include Northeastern and North Central Massachusetts, and Southern, New Hampshire.

This position will be located in the leased office space at 10 Technology Road, Westford, Mass., which is about 2 miles from the Chelmsford facility at 16 Maple Road.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.

Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
1) Advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, graphs, vlookup, & conditional formulas; 2) Basic-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; 3) Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral; 4) Data organization skills; 5) Data analysis skills, especially cost variance; 6) Data visualization skills, especially with web-based tools like Tableau software; 7) Basic accounting skills; 8) Budgeting skills; 9) Cost estimating skills.
