Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, is pursuing multiple efforts on Future Vertical Lift (FVL) programs to develop next generation rotorcraft for the Department of Defense. Sikorsky Innovations (Systems Engineering) is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer that can thrive in this exciting, sophisticated, and challenging FVL environment. This role will have a direct impact on the future of Sikorsky's rotorcraft business and Sikorsky's standards for MBSE processes and tools.

You will ensure the logical and detailed conversion of customer requirements into systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints using MBSE. Using MBSE you will collect requirements, system architecture, interfaces, analyses, and traceability. The system models crafted will include all levels of the system hierarchy.

The candidate is encouraged to have a strong systems engineering background and will also perform program technical planning, aircraft systems integration/verification/validation planning, trade studies, and risk analysis for rotorcraft systems and sub-systems. The candidate should have good systems engineering soft skills including successfully leading complementary teams, working well in a team environment, being a systems problem solver, building a rapport with customer counterparts, having strong verbal/written communication skills, and being self-driven towards ensuring the product under development will meet the customer's needs.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience, or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master of Science degree.

Related disciplines include but are not limited to: Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Physics.

Previous experience applying systems engineering on large, complex programs in at least one of the following areas: requirements analysis/management, interface management, system architecture definition, integration/verification/validation planning and execution

Knowledge of Systems Modeling Language (SysML) (coursework, training, or experience)
Desired Skills:
Experience leading the application of or applying MBSE using SysML on complex system development efforts (especially where the model is the authoritative source of truth)
Experience using No Magics MagicDraw/Cameo Systems Modeler/Cameo Enterprise Architecture modeling tools, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator
Previous systems engineering experience on aircraft or rotorcraft systems
Knowledge of Architecture Analysis Design Language (AADL)
Experience with the Armys Architecture Centric Virtual Integration Process (ACVIP)
Object Management Group (OMG) Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) certification, preferably to the Model Builder-Intermediate or Model Builder-Advanced levels
INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional certification
