Job Summary: This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on customer service and dispatching experience in a dynamic environment. This critical role supports the entire Operations team by assuring the technicians know where they are going for their appointments and what work they are going to complete when they get there. This position will report to the Scheduling Supervisor.

Essential Job Duties:

Establish and maintain effective working relationship with new & existing customers through a high degree of professionalism and excellent interpersonal/communication skills.

Daily duties include heavy phone activity and computer use.

Field staff requests/inquiries regarding general issues.

Receive incoming calls and create work orders.

Manage timely response to customers calls and inquiries.

Plan, forecast, schedule and communicate service calls with customers and technicians.

Maintain an extremely well organized calendar.

Other duties and additional responsibilities as directed, depending upon interest and capacity.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications
Education & Experience:

High school degree (Or GED equivalent).

1 to 2 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Superior organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily activities to meet competing deadlines.

Experience in QuickBooks and a high level of proficiency in all MS office Applications.

Strong, positive interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:

The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

The employees must move about the office to access office equipment and supplies on a daily basis.

This job operates in a professional office environment.

The noise level is moderate.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Preferred Experience:

Bachelor's Degree or automotive industry experience.

Bilingual.

•  2014 acquisition of Keystone Specialty, which expanded our product offering and increased our addressable market to include specialty vehicle aftermarket equipment and accessories.

•  On December 22, 2015, LKQ announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the holding company of Rhiag-Inter Auto Parts Italia
•  S.p.A (“Rhiag”), a leading pan-European business-to-business distributor of aftermarket spare parts for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Rhiag has operations in Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Poland and Spain. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2016 and is subject to customary closing conditions and necessary regulatory approvals.
