The Technology Solutions division of IQVIA develops, markets, and implements healthcare-focused enterprise software applications to help life sciences customers drive their business from molecule to market.

Role Summary

In this role, you will bridge the technical and business worlds as you design and evolve our next generation commercial data processing solution to support big data analytics and insights against heterogeneous data sources from life science and healthcare providers.

A true SaaS solution with a built-for-the-cloud architecture combining the power of data warehousing, with the flexibility of big data platforms, and the elasticity of the cloud. You will develop product solutions, Go-to-Market, and key business relationships to execute on the huge market potential of this offering. This role will be the responsible for both internally and externally for the vision, plan, launch and evangelism of information management effort for the company.

You will want to show that you are open to continuous learning, commitment to action-oriented analysis, an attitude that anything is possible and a relentless focus on the product.

Responsibilities:

* Build and manage a team of individuals passionate about data management for life sciences
* Maintain close working relationships with partners, development, QA and delivery leads
* Provide thought leadership and champion product management discipline for a team
* Interface with various solution/business areas to understand the requirements and support the development
* Guide innovation and building new capabilities to solve complex healthcare and life science data management problems
* Manage and navigate thru frequent changes and competing priorities

Required Experience:

* Strong understanding of data warehousing design and concepts
* Background in the Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Pharmaceutical Industry required
* 10+ years of experience building, managing and driving data management analytics innovation for life science domain
* 10+ years strong experience in database and data warehousing, data management, data lake concepts and techniques
* Proficiency in building solutions with multiple cloud infrastructure (AWS must), other cloud skills a plus
* Proven understanding of guiding initiatives for complex data pipelines & analytics platforms with Hive, Spark, Presto, Cassandra, Hadoop and MLNLP capabilities
