In this critical position, we will be looking to you to have the ability and experience to work independently to engage in critical analysis in multiple complex higher-level areas within the International Tax Compliance function. Your responsibilities will include reviewing/preparing US international income tax returns (Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, 8865, 8992, 1120-F, etc). You will assist in the review of local income tax return filings and statutory financials for all foreign Western Union subsidiaries, manage the tax account reconciliation process. You’ll also oversee the tax installment payment processes for all foreign entities.
For such a detail-driven role, you will have 7+ years of overall corporate income tax experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in the international tax area, preferably at a large multinational or major public accounting firm. You will have obtained your bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or a similar business subject, with a master’s and CPA a plus. You will have experience with tax/accounting software programs like Oracle, HFM, CorpTax, etc. You’ll demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills and successfully use Microsoft Office.
