Summary: Under direct supervision the Inventory Control Technician (Inventory Clerk) pulls inventory for orders and restocks inventory into stock.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 12:00pm to 9:00pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
* Practices good GDocP and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
* Picks various work order types using a barcode scanner
* Moves inventory to pickable stock locations
* Performs product inspections
* Performs basic JD Edwards functions:
* Summary availability searches
* Inventory Transfers
* Participates in periodic inventory cycle counts
* Utilizes Compliance Wire and Mastercontrol
* Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
* Strong customer service, interpersonal and communications skills are essential
* The ideal candidate will have the ability to demonstrate a good understanding of company products, ability to be organized, detailed, process and goal oriented, a self-started and able to work independently, but also as a team player is necessary.
Education/Experience:
* Must possess a high school diploma; and 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
* Ability to read, write and understand detailed worked instructions and Good Manufacturing Processes.
Math Ability:
* Ability to calculate and apply concepts of basic math.
Reasoning Ability:
* Ability to follow detailed work instructions, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must be detail oriented.
Computer Skills:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
