What you will do-
You will perform purchasing and planning for medical device products in order to maintain service level goals and hits sales target. You will use your analytical and problem solving skills to build a 18-month demand forecast. You will develop and maintain strong partnerships with Finance, Marketing and other Supply Chain partners.
* Execute daily purchasing functions by interacting with international affiliated plants.
* Analyze demand for 2,500 SKUs and set safety stock targets based on demand fluctuations, new product introduction, cannibalization, obsolescence, and relevant promotions.
* Set up Item Master; develop and execute inventory build plan to support New Product Launches by working with Marketing, Logistics, Customer Service and Manufacturing Plant.
* Develop and track performance metrics, including service level, inventory, and quality metrics.
* Manage inventory under budget and to projections.
* Support development of Demand Planning processes.
* Participate in monthly S&OP process ensuring purchasing activities are synchronized with demand plans.
What do you need-
* Bachelors degree required; concentration in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or Finance -preferred
* 3+ years experience in Supply Chain, Planning & Procurement, preferred
* Experience in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), preferred
* Prefer APICS certification
