The Global Prevenar Next Generation (PNG) Marketing team is responsible for driving launch excellence across Pfizer, working within the GLocal model and partnering with country colleagues, ensuring local insights are leveraged in the development of strategies and tactics, and supporting implementation.
The Global Marketing Director role will join a dynamic team and be responsible for developing the assets first ever promotional platform including product positioning, campaign development, and messaging. The position requires strong strategic and analytical thinking, interpersonal and communication skills, exceptional agility, and maturity to successfully navigate and influence multiple teams. This individual needs to be a self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities, has attention to detail, can collaborate across the enterprise, and will learn from and improve upon existing processes and develop/implement new processes, where appropriate. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable ability to build & execute strategies and initiatives that maximize value and support achievement of business objectives.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will report to the Vice President Global Prevenar Pediatric Marketing.
* Create market development strategy, plan and tactics
* Lead the development of the assets promotional platform including, positioning, branding, and messaging.
* Work within the GLocal model with key country colleagues to develop and implement strategies and programs that maximize the potential of this asset.
* Ensure customer insights and market needs are understood & integrated in plans. Effectively translate these into strategies & tactics with clear metrics.
* Manage the budget allocated to this role and ensure financial targets are met
QUALIFICATIONS
* Education and experience: Bachelor degree required, MBA desirable
* 10+ years of broad pharmaceutical experience preferred
* In-country and above country experience desirable
* Strategically minded, ability to see the big picture plus be attentive to minor detail
* Strong Analytical skills, systems/technical experience and high tolerance of ambiguity
* Strong financial acumen
* Prior manufacturing experience or interface with manufacturing departments would be beneficial
* A track record of effectively working within a large matrix organization
* A business Generalist - understand commercial business processes and terminology
* Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
