In this role, you will be partner with analytics engineers to help make data more accessible to our internal partners. This role will impact the heart of the business, helping provide critical data to make business decisions.

Role and Responsibilities:

* Apply engineering standard methodologies in order to analyze, design, develop, deploy, and support data and software solutions
* Develop software using continuous deployment and integration practices
* Advising data teams to get a big-picture idea of the data needs.
* Conducting preliminary testing of the data environment before data is extracted.
* Extracting company data and transferring it into the new environment.
* Testing the new data once all the data has been transferred.
* Contribute to a collaborative work environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions.
* Providing maintenance support and solutioning to any issues that may arise.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

* 2+ years of experience in data engineering or related field
* Experience with agile methodologies/DevOps environment
* Familiar with database structures, theories, principles, and practices
* Familiar with data integration patterns and tooling including ELT/ETL, Replication, Event Streaming, Virtualization to support batch and real-time data needs.
* Strong SQL skills required.
* ETL tool experience required.
* Experience with different engineering eco systems (Relational, Big Data, Flat File and Amazon Web Services (AWS)).
* Proficient programming skills, including experience with Python and using Jupyter Notebook.
* Ability to explain technical solutions to technical teams
* Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction
* Excellent teamwork, coordination, influencing, and communication skills
* Understanding and awareness of regulations around the use of PII data
* B.S. degree in related field

This job is not covered by the existing Collective Bargaining Agreement.
